Monalisa Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Monalisa), founded in 1992, is headquartered in Xiqiao Town, Nanhai District of Foshan. It is a high-tech ceramics producer listed in the stock market, which integrates research, creativity design, production and marketing.

At present, Monalisa Group has ten holding subsidiaries and four modern production facilities for building ceramics. It has 37 production lines in Xiqiao of Foshan, Qingyuan of Guangdong, Tengxian County of Guangxi and Gao'an of Jiangxi, producing such products as ceramic tiles, ceramic plates (thin plates, large plates and rock plates) and porcelain art, which are used in residence decorations and public building decorations, including the application of ceramic plates in building curtain wall engineering, outdoor and indoor porcelain art murals, as well as the development of new application fields such as prefabricated buildings, composite parts, customized home, and ceramic tile glue, etc.

Monalisa Group has three brands, namely, Monalisa, QD and Merqi. It has established more than 4,000 franchised stores and marketing outlets in all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. Besides, it has established strategic partnership with nearly 100 large real estate developers such as Country Garden, Vanke, POLY and COLI, so as to provide timely and considerate services for consumers. Over the years, Monalisa Group has been involved in the construction of eight venues of the Beijing Olympic Games, ten venues of the Guangzhou Asian Games, HK-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and other key projects at home and abroad. It has signed contracts to become the designated ceramic tile supplier for the China Pavilion in the 2020 Dubai World Expo and the exclusive supplier of official building ceramics for the 19^th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022.

Monalisa Group has been carrying out the innovation-driven strategy, continuously highlighting the core prominent position of advanced technology while getting the upper hand in the technology competition. Monalisa Research Institute, via such research platforms as National Enterprise Technology Center, Guangdong Workstation of Technical Experts, Postdoctoral Research Workstation, China Key Laboratory of Inorganic Materials for Light Industry, China Technical Research Center of Ceramic Decorative Plate Engineering for Light Industry, etc., has made great achievements in the R&D, design, production, application and environmental protection of building ceramics, and achieved a high degree of green development in production and manufacturing. At the same time, Monalisa Group is active to engage in collaboration with research institutes and universities, including CASCHEM in Guangzhou, South China University of Technology, Wuhan University of Technology and Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, thus expanding the application of thin building ceramics, breaking through the traditional applications of building ceramics products, and opening up a new path and providing effective guarantee for the further transformation and upgrading of the domestic building ceramics industry. As of June 2021, Monalisa Group has compiled (or participated in compiling) 49 national, industrial, local and group standards, and obtained 892 authorized patents, including 145 invention patents (including five PCTs), 127 utility model patents and 620 design patents.

Quality focus and innovation first. Monalisa Group has launched a number of innovative products such as ceramic thin plate, light plate, ceramic art painting, ceramic large plate and ceramic rock plate. Among them, the 1,800×900×5.5 (mm) large ceramic sheet, launched in 2007, is an innovative product with revolutionary significance in the construction ceramics industry for more than 30 years, which has promoted the green upgrading of the industry, and winning the first prize of China Building Materials Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2019, Monalisa Group purchased the 36,000T press made in China, which helped secure the mass production of 3,600×1,600×15.5(mm) large ceramic rock plates and facilitating the independent production of large ceramic rock plates. In March 2021, Monalisa Group launched 9,000×1,800×10.5 (mm) larger ceramic plates, thus reaching a new height of Chinese ceramics plates.

Adhering to the quality culture of “making every piece of ceramic tile into an artistic boutique and carrying Monalisa's smile into thousands of families”, Monalisa has created a 3M Model of quality management that combines architectural ceramics with art, green development and intelligence. Relying on technological innovation, service innovation, marketing innovation, process innovation and management mode innovation, Monalisa Group has won the 2015 Foshan Municipal Government Quality Award, Guangdong Provincial Government Quality Award and the nomination award of the 3^rd China Quality Award in 2018. At the same time, Monalisa Group is at the forefront of the industry in standardized management. It has carried out 15 product or management certification systems, such as ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, ISO50001 energy management system, ISO450001 occupational health and safety management system, intellectual property management system, integration of industrialization and IT management systems and green products, thus rated as one of the “first standardization good practice penta-A enterprises”.

Environmental protection never ends. Monalisa Group has always placed the concept of green environmental protection throughout the development of the Group. Through green design, green manufacturing and green application, Monalisa Group has built a green industrial ecological chain and realized the green production of ceramic enterprises - resource and energy conservation, waste residue recycling and zero wastewater discharge, reflecting the effect of circular economy and cleaner production. It provides a model for the green development of the whole industry. It has been rated as a national “resource-saving and environment-friendly” pilot enterprise, won the first batch of “three-star green building materials evaluation mark” of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the first batch of “green factory”, Foshan environmental integrity enterprise (green brand) and the first batch of Chinese green product certification for five consecutive years.

CSR is the pillar ensuring bigger and stronger enterprises. Monalisa Group has been active to fulfill its CSR. By caring for the working environment, the physical and mental health of employees, by caring for the orphaned and widowed elderly in surrounding areas, donating materials, investing in construction assistance, Monalisa Group has deepened the activity of “100 enterprises supporting 100 villages”, so as to help with the poverty-alleviation cause in China. When the COVID-19 epidemic broke out in 2020, Monalisa Group quickly acted and helped fight against the disease. It donated more than two million RMB to fight against the epidemic. In the flood in Henan in 2021, Monalisa Group donated one million RMB for the flood relief and post disaster reconstruction.
